Restorative Lawyering

a new approach

The practice of law is changing rapidly in the twentieth century. Our modern practice demands that we excel in negotiation and settlement opportunities. Concurrently, the judicial system is undergoing significant changes. Many criminal justice scholars are encouraging the adoption of restorative justice practices that provide for a deeper and more sustainable response to criminal wrong doing. I have developed a practice of law that incorporates the principles and values of restorative justice into the everyday practice of both criminal and civil law that increases both client and attorney satisfaction in the outcomes.
